Nowadays we hurry up when we do everything even at home – cooking, eating, cleaning, washing. Just running from task to task because our time is usually limited. Thus we forget to remove a stain when we spill food. Most appliances and devices that you have at home have manuals where it is written how to clean them if you happen to scatter a liquid or food on them. In most of these instructions only traditional cleaning methods are described.
If you want to use only natural products here are three green cleaning tips, which professional cleaners London share with you:
1. Apply cornstarch for grease
The flour of the maze can be used to absorb perfectly oily spills. Just put a little bit of it over the stain, no matter if it is over an appliance or a surface, the cleaning agent needs only a few minute to soak up the grease. Then it should be wiped out with a clean sponge.
2. Treat any spillover with baking soda or salt
If there is something spilt in the oven, you had better wait until is cooled down. Although it is easier to remove a stain while it is still hot, the risk is not worthy. You might seriously damage your hand, that is why – do not risk. When the temperature falls down, sprinkle baking soda on the stains. Leave it there for several minutes or if the stain is harder even hours and then wipe it with a paper towel or cleaning cloth.
Another alternative is salt – put it over the spill while the oven is still hot and let it stay there until it cools down, remove the food and scrub it with a damp cloth.
3. Clean the microwave with baking soda only
If there are different types of food, hardened on the walls of your microwave, a very simple and effective method is preparing a solution of ½ cup of water and ¼ cup of baking soda. Apply it, using a damp sponge and wait for a few minutes. Then dab with a clean sponge.
The best cleaners in London recommend you using only green cleaning techniques whenever it is possible. They are not harmful to you or the environment and are much cheaper that the traditional cleaning products.
